Legal entity. This website is operated by Business Development Group LLC, a privately owned limited liability company, which conducts this business under the trade name (DBA) “The Office of Trade and Investment.” All references on this website to “the Office,” “OTI,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Business Development Group LLC operating under that trade name.

Private, for-profit firm. The Office of Trade and Investment is an independent, privately owned, for-profit advisory firm. It provides professional services on a commercial basis and charges fees for those services. Nothing on this website is offered free of charge or as a public service, and engagement of the firm is subject to a separate written agreement and applicable fees.

No affiliation with Próspera or its ecosystem. The Office of Trade and Investment (Business Development Group LLC) is not, and is not part of, owned by, controlled by, a subsidiary of, an agency of, an instrumentality of, or otherwise affiliated with: Próspera ZEDE (the Zona de Empleo y Desarrollo Económico); the Office of the Technical Secretary of Próspera ZEDE; the Próspera Council; the Próspera Trust; GSP; HPI (Honduras Próspera Inc.); Próspera Arbitration Center; the Roatán Financial Services Authority (RFSA); or any other Próspera-related, Próspera-affiliated, or Próspera-ecosystem entity, person, or program. The firm does not act for, speak for, or bind any of those entities.

Nature of the honorary appointment. The firm's principal, Danel Calvillo Armendariz, has been appointed Special Representative for Trade and Investment of the Próspera ZEDE Office of the Technical Secretary pursuant to Administrative Action §6-1-06-23-2026-06 (effective 23 June 2026). That appointment is, by its own terms, honorary, non-binding, strictly representational, and rendered ad honorem (without compensation). It is held by the principal in his individual capacity as a recognition of professional standing, and may be described as such; it confers no governmental, regulatory, contracting, or binding authority of any kind on the principal or on the firm, and may not be relied upon as evidence of any such authority. The principal does not, through that appointment, execute instruments on behalf of, or commit, Próspera ZEDE, the Office of the Technical Secretary, the Próspera Council, the Próspera Trust, or any other Próspera instrumentality. The honorary appointment does not restrict, and is fully compatible with, the firm's provision of professional services on commercial terms. The firm advises and assists investors, operators, and other clients who voluntarily choose to engage it under professional terms and conditions, and the firm considers competent, arm's-length professional assistance to be the proper and ethical means of helping parties enter and operate within the jurisdiction.

No official endorsement. Reference on this website to Próspera ZEDE, its legal framework, its institutions, or the principal's honorary appointment is descriptive and informational. It does not constitute or imply any endorsement, sponsorship, certification, accreditation, or guarantee by Próspera ZEDE or any entity in its ecosystem of the firm, its services, or any outcome.
